Pecos Eagles Varsity Takes Victory Over Presidio

Pecos Eagles Varsity scores more runs than Presidio, takes victory on Friday to the tune of 7-2

Presidio fired up the offense in the first inning, when J Hernandez singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Pecos Eagles Varsity notched five runs in the fourth inning. The big inning was thanks to walks by Ethan Sandoval and Jayden Garza, by Nate Garza, and a double by Jaydon Muniz.

Tyger Baca took the win for Pecos Eagles Varsity. The ace surrendered zero runs on three hits over two and two-thirds innings, walking one. Muniz recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Pecos Eagles Varsity.

Hernandez took the loss for Presidio. The pitcher surrendered two runs on two hits over three innings, striking out three.
Baca went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Pecos Eagles Varsity in hits.

J Dominguez led Presidio with two hits in two at bats.
