Pitching By Lee Shuts Out Crane, Pecos Lady Eagles Take The Win

Lee Villarreal didn't allow a single run as Pecos Lady Eagles Varsity defeated Crane 16-0 on Tuesday. Villarreal allowed just two hits.

In the first inning, Pecos Lady Eagles Varsity got their offense started when Camryn Devivo reached on a dropped third strike.

Pecos Lady Eagles Varsity put up seven runs in the fourth inning. Pecos Lady Eagles Varsity's big inning was driven by singles by Miray Rodriguez and Haydn Stewart, a triple by Devivo, and a double by Jasiah Salas.

A double by L Y in the second inning was a positive for Crane.

Villarreal earned the win for Pecos Lady Eagles Varsity. The righty lasted four and two-thirds innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out seven.

Y took the loss for Crane. The bulldog allowed 17 hits and 15 runs over four innings, striking out three.

Pecos Lady Eagles Varsity racked up 17 hits on the day. Elizabeth Levario, Rodriguez, Devivo, Maddie Chabaria, Stewart, and Monique Dominguez all collected multiple hits for Pecos Lady Eagles Varsity. Rodriguez and Levario each collected three hits to lead Pecos Lady Eagles Varsity. Pecos Lady Eagles Varsity tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases. Alessandra Garcia led the way with two.

Y went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Crane in hits.
