I wanted to share some great news about your Lady Eagles Golf Team. The Lady Eagles travelled to the Girls 4A Region I Preview hosted in Lubbock Texas. While they didn’t bring home the win, there were a lot of other exciting things that happened.
On day 1, we had Victoria Solis have her best round ever and break a hundred to shoot a 97. Syra Sandoval shot her 3rd round in a row in the 90s. Rylie Dominguez and Camryn Campos did their part and helped the Lady Eagles beat their lowest team total by 5 strokes for a team total of 410. It only got better on day 2.
On day 2, Victoria Solis broke her best round ever, from the day before, and shot a 94, Rylie Dominguez shot her best round ever shooting a 97. Syra Sandoval once again came through with her 4th round in a row in the 90s, and Camryn Campos contributed greatly for the Lady Eagles to beat their best team total by 17 strokes and shoot 393 as a team. This is the first time in the 300s.
This is fantastic golf and these ladies continue to grow in their golf game. We should all be excited for what is ahead. With all that great golf, we still had another great moment.
